What type of crimper to use on these contacts?

John, these pins are very tiny and easy to crimp with small pliers.
They are normally used for female headers (btw. I just added a whole bunch, see new items), which are really just plastic pieces, where these pins are installed. On the other hand, I don't see why not use these pins without the plastic casing. Interesting. |

I don't know about these specific contacts, but there are a couple of models of ratchet crimp tool available from Pololu for $30-$40 that may be worth looking at. The one I'm using I got in Toronto at Creatron.

Thanks mwilson. I ended up soldering the wires. I will go get a crimp tool before I try to use these next time. Soldering took forever, but you CAN create a key if you solder the spring shut and insert that into the plug
