The PCB contains 1.27mm (0.05") SMT pads broken out to through-hole pads.

SnapTrack™ is a non-conductive, rigid extruded PVC channel for mounting assemblies and custom built boards. PCBs snap-in from front and are held securely by integral ribs that absorb shock when PCB is flexed. Removal of PCB is very easy as well.

PB1 easily snaps in Tyco SnapTrack™ 2TK channel creating a modular development platform.

One issue with this design came to attention: some connections between F to H and K to M may be open (not conducting) because of through holes in positions G and L. If the holes are used for soldering, then there is no problem.

The PB1 SMT proto board was designed from PB4, which is dual layer. Obviously, dual layer will not have this issue because holes are plated. PB1 was made single side, because SS is easier to prototype on. Maybe this was not such a good design choice after all. Anyway, keep your eyes on those G and L columns and if you need conductivity between F and H or K and M, just bridge the G/L with a solder.
