Breadboard matching proto board 172 x 91mm with plastic holder.
The QB-PCB is a new series of double-sided PCBs designed to enable easy and direct transfer of temporary circuit built on a solderless breadboard onto a PCB. In practical use, the PCB is placed on top of either breadboard module MBB-830 or MBB-1460. These PCBs have identical shapes and copper trace patterns to the tie-points on a standard breadboard; therefore acting transparently in breadboard circuit construction.
When a breadboard circuit has been built and fully tested, it is ready to be soldered onto the sandwiched PCB. The solder barrier sheet on the bottom side of PCB prevents solder from getting down onto the breadboard underdeneath. With circuit power turned off, progressively solder a portion of the circuits on the top side of the PCB. Retest circuit after each soldering session so that problems introduced in soldering can quickly be isolated. This is an efficient and confident way of transferring a working circuit built on a breadboard onto PCB. The finished PCB would then be removed for mounting to its matching holder or a project box permanently. It is optional to trim all the components leads on the bottom side of the PCB before mounting to its holder.
